Green2Gold, a project of the Environmental Education Group, (a 501c3 non-profit institution, founded in 1972) is dedicated to building a better, greener world through ethical, environmental economic development. Green2Gold is dedicated to helping green businesses grow through their unique Environmental Incubation™ process. Green2Gold mentors, educates, and brings to market environmental technologies, services, sustainable enterprises and environmentally-respectful products. The organization was formed to both stimulate sustainable economic development and commercialize innovative ideas in sustainable and renewable products and services, inspiring viable solutions to environmental degradation and pollution. With a proven track record of success, Green2Gold has hundreds of clients, both virtual and “brick and mortar” spanning the globe, national and international media coverage, frequent speaking engagements, and a monthly e-newsletter that reaches tens of thousands of recipients worldwide.
With the goal of establishing community-based, mixed-tech and mixed-use sustainable incubators throughout the US and internationally, Green2Gold effectively leverages local communities to work together to build a vibrant, green economy resulting in a brighter future. Green2Gold specializes in a spectrum of educational and mentorship services designed to effectively commercialize innovative, new green products and services, alternative energies, and environmental technologies, through services such as mentorship, product development, financing resources, prototyping, market research, intellectual property protection and licensing, cooperative marketing, business development, community expansion, et al. The organization is unique in that it additionally incubates and helps grow non-profit entities through mentorship, organizational development, strategic planning, and effective grassroots marketing. Green2Gold has helped launch organizations including Playful Planet, HumaniTourism™, Dreamalings Foundation, Hip Hop Kidz, The Money Camp, Lady Bug Jane, GreenTower Sustainability, Save The Mermaids, Esperanza, Aid Still Required, AUTSPOT Foundation, amongst numerous others. To further their commitment to promoting effective environmental entrepreneurship at all levels of society, today and tomorrow, the Environmental Education Group and Green2Gold have pioneered the YIPEE KIDS PROGRAMS, which are incredibly dynamic youth programs centered around inspiring environmental entrepreneurship in tomorrow’s leaders.
